What is Klarna?

How does payment through Klarna work?

Pay now: Pay directly with your credit or debit card, or with your bank account and always keep full control of your purchases. Fast, safe and easy. No stress.

Pay Later: “Pay Later” is a credit product that allows you to pay within 14, 21 or 30 days of purchase, depending on the offer available in your area, with no interest or fees. You can make this payment with a credit or debit card in the Klarna app or by logging into the Klarna website. Klarna will send you a confirmation email with all the details once your order is confirmed. You can view past and future payments using the Klarna application.

How do I know if I can pay with Klarna?

To use Klarna’s credit products you must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the country where you are located. When you choose Klarna, they will validate the information you provide and your financial situation.

Can I place several simultaneous orders by paying with Klarna?

Of course. If you see that Klarna is a payment option at checkout, then you can use it. Each time you use its payment services, Klarna will check if you can use the service again for each additional purchase.

What Klarna services are available and where?

The payment services offered by Klarna vary by country. You will see what options are available in your area at checkout.
Funding through Klarna is not currently available on Redbubble.

Klarna is only available to users in Australia Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Spain, the United States and the United Kingdom.

What does Klarna consider when reviewing my application?

Klarna offers certain services depending on the amount of the purchase or the history of previous orders. If you are over 18, be sure to provide your full name, a valid billing address, and select your billing address as your shipping address in order to have a better chance of using Klarna. All orders are reviewed individually. The fact that you have been accepted in the past does not mean that you will be offered on future orders. At the same time, if your application is denied once, it does not mean that the same thing will happen in the future.

What do I have to provide when making a purchase?

If you want to purchase something using Klarna’s payment services, you will need to share your phone number, email address, current billing address, and credit or debit card information. If Klarna needs to speak to you urgently, she will use the phone number you have shared. For any other information, they will send it to your email address.

Will a solvency check be performed?

Yes, once you decide to use Klarna, they will look at your financial history to decide whether to approve your purchase.

I have been asked to go to the Klarna website. Are these instructions correct?

If you choose to pay for your order using “Pay Later”, Klarna will send you an email telling you how to pay. The email will contain a link that you can use to make this payment with your credit or debit card.

Can I pay before the established payment dates?

Yes. Just go to the Klarna app or log on to Klarna.com.

Can I trust that my payment information is secure?

Payment information is securely processed by Klarna. Card data is not transferred to or retained by Redbubble. In addition, all transactions are conducted over secured connections with the latest industry-standard security protocols.

How do I know that Klarna has received my payment?

Klarna will notify you by email and push notifications when a payment is due, after making a payment or when you have forgotten to make a payment. You can always check the status of your order and payments in the Klarna app or by logging in at www.klarna.com.

What happens if I don’t pay for my order or I am late in making a payment?

Pay later:

“Pay Later” is a credit product, so you will need to make payment to Klarna directly. If you do not pay for your order, Klarna may use a collection agency.
Klarna may also share information about your defaults with credit rating agencies. This means that you may find it difficult or more expensive to use Klarna’s or other lenders’ credit products in the future. Full details can be found in Klarna’s terms of use.

Pay in installments:

“Pay by installments” is a credit product, so you will need to make payment to Klarna directly. If Klarna is unable to collect the payment on the scheduled payment date, Klarna will make a new automatic collection attempt seven days later. If this next payment attempt fails, Klarna will make a final collection attempt seven days later.

They may continue to attempt to collect past due and current payments at later dates, or bill you separately for the full amount outstanding. Klarna may also refer any debt to a collection agency to collect the debt on Klarna’s behalf.

Also, if the debt is ever referred to a debt collection agency, Klarna will share this information with the credit rating agencies. This means that you may find it difficult or more expensive to use Klarna’s or other lenders’ credit products in the future. Full details can be found in Klarna’s terms of use.

I have received a confirmation, but have not yet received my order.

If you have not received your order, please contact Redbubble to check the status of your order and delivery. You can also contact Klarna customer service to postpone the payment or put the order on hold in the Klarna app while your order arrives.

What happens if I cancel or return my order or part of it?

As soon as Redbubble has confirmed with Klarna that your cancellation/refund has been accepted, Klarna will cancel or adjust any future scheduled payments and refund any amounts paid to the debit or credit card originally used. You will be able to see the return in the Klarna app immediately.

I have asked for my money back. How will I get my money back?

The refund will be made to the debit or credit card originally used at the time of payment.

I have not received any email with payment/invoice information.

You can log in to the Klarna app or www.klarna.com, where you will find information about all your orders and payment schedules.
